RIM CEO Jim Balsillie discussed the "bumpy start" the company had with the BlackBerry Storm. After spending over $100 million in marketing the Storm was hampered by buggy software causing users to complain. Balsillie calls the bugs a "new reality of making complex cellphones in large volumes."

He also said RIM made their black Friday deadline by the "skin of their teeth."

What's going on at RIM? Perhaps they could get the bugs worked out before they release their product rather than accepting it as a "reality."
